Conversations with Room 19

Our buddy class Room 19 have been learning about how to have a conversation.
They have been learning skills such as asking questions and having eye contact with the person they are speaking with.

They came to Room 12 to practise their conversation skills with us.

Howick Historical Village

On Wednesday Room 11, 12 and 22 went to Howick Historical Village to learn about toys from the past.

Art of Aotearoa

We went to the Art of Aotearoa exhibition in the hall today.

We got to see the amazing artworks by all the children at V.A.S that were inspired by New Zealand artists and illustrators.

 Room 12's art was inspired by author and illustrator Pamela Allen.

We created a self portrait influenced by her illustrating style....
